Where Every Fee Went
Most DeFi platforms publish growth numbers. Almost none publish what happened to the fees that growth generated.
Here is August in full. Every figure below is funded entirely by platform fees and verifiable on-chain.
$4,200 in SPT buybacks. 55 SOL of platform fees used to buy SPT on the open market.
$2,486 USDC paired with bought-back SPT. Added as liquidity rather than held, deepening the pool that every SPT trade routes through.
$4,000+ in SPT allocated to the SPT/SOL LP farming pool. Rewards for people providing liquidity, funded from fees rather than from treasury emissions.
$1,500+ in SPT distributed as Whale Club rewards. Paid to Whale Club members in the programme's first month.
That is roughly $12,200 recycled back into the token and the ecosystem in a single month, from a platform charging modest fees on locking, staking and swapping.
The reason this matters more than the growth numbers: fee revenue leaving a platform is the normal outcome. Fee revenue returning to the token and the people using it is a design choice, and it is one you can verify on-chain rather than take on trust.
Whale Club Launched
Whale Club went live in August. Holding 1M or more SPT qualifies you for monthly rewards funded from platform buybacks.
Scoring runs on holdings, platform usage, social promotion and swap activity, so the largest holder does not automatically top the leaderboard. Someone actively using the platform and promoting it can outscore a passive wallet holding more.
Over $1,500 was distributed to members in the first month. The leaderboard resets monthly.
What the Locks Actually Show
600 unique locks across 386 supported tokens is a useful dataset, and a few things stand out.
Token variety is growing faster than lock count. Tokens supported rose 35% while locks rose 17%, meaning more distinct projects are locking rather than existing projects locking repeatedly. That is a healthier signal for a locker than the raw lock count.
Token-2022 adoption keeps climbing. A growing share of locks are Token-2022 tokens, including tokens with transfer taxes and reflection mechanics. This is the standard on newer Solana launchpads, and it is where platform support genuinely differs. Several established lockers still list Token-2022 as partial or pending.
Stakes grew faster than stakers. 484 unique stakes across 383 active stakers means people are staking in more than one pool rather than picking one and stopping.
Reading Platform Metrics
A note worth making, since this is a report full of numbers.
DeFi platforms report value in at least three different ways and they are not comparable.
Current TVL is what is locked right now. It moves with price and with withdrawals, and it is the figure DefiLlama and similar trackers publish.
Cumulative value processed is everything that has ever passed through a platform since launch. It only goes up, it counts the same tokens repeatedly if they were locked and released, and it is typically much larger than current TVL.
Peak TVL is the highest figure ever reached, which may bear no relationship to what is held today.
When a platform publishes a figure without saying which of the three it is, that is worth noticing. The $9.95M above is current TVL, held on-chain as of the end of August, and it is verifiable by checking the program's accounts directly.
What Shipped in August
Token vesting. Cliff periods and continuous linear release to a beneficiary wallet, with schedules permanent by default. Each one gets a public page anyone can check. More on vesting.
LP farming. Stake LP tokens from Raydium, Meteora, Orca or PumpSwap and earn a separate reward token on top of trading fees. More on farming.
Dual token staking. Stake one token, earn a different one, with full SPL and Token-2022 support.
Whale Club. Monthly SPT rewards for qualifying holders, funded from platform buybacks.
Automated safety scores. Every staking pool is scanned and scored, covering mint authority, freeze authority and other risk factors.

What StakePoint Does
For anyone arriving from a search rather than following the platform:
Token locking** holds SPL and Token-2022 tokens in a Program Derived Address until a set unlock date. Nobody can withdraw early, including StakePoint. Used for team allocations, dev wallets and supply commitments.
LP locking** does the same for liquidity pool tokens from Raydium, Meteora, Orca and PumpSwap, proving liquidity cannot be pulled.
Token vesting** releases allocations gradually with an optional cliff, for team, investor and advisor tokens.
Staking pools** let any project reward holders for staking, with rewards funded upfront and distributed continuously.
LP farming** rewards liquidity providers with a separate token on top of their trading fees.
Swaps** route through Jupiter for best available pricing across Solana.
All of it is non-custodial, all of it holds assets in Program Derived Addresses with no private keys, and every lock, schedule and pool has a public page anyone can verify without connecting a wallet.
Growth Without Paid Acquisition
Worth stating plainly because it shapes what the numbers mean.
StakePoint has never run a paid advertising campaign, paid an influencer, or taken venture funding. Growth has come from projects using the platform, sharing their public lock and vesting pages with their own communities, and those communities arriving to check them.
That is slower than buying growth. It also means the numbers above reflect actual usage rather than acquisition spend, and that the users arriving are already interested in what the platform does.
Performance Relative to Platform Age
StakePoint was independently evaluated in August across security, feature depth, transparency and development progress, scoring 9.3 out of 10 overall and 10 out of 10 for development progress relative to platform age. It ranked first against platforms with several years of operation and venture funding behind them.
That second figure is the one worth dwelling on, because platform age is the criterion most comparisons lean on hardest, and it is the weakest one. Longevity tells you a platform survived. It does not tell you whether it handles your token standard, covers your DEX, or gives your holders something they can verify.
StakePoint launched in December 2025. In nine months it has shipped token locking, LP locking across every major Solana DEX, staking pools, dual token staking, LP farming, token vesting, a swap interface, a Telegram trading bot and a suite of free wallet tools. All non-custodial, all audited, all with public verification pages.
The platform is younger than its competitors. On what it actually does, it is not behind them.
September's report will follow at the start of October.
Common Questions
How much TVL does StakePoint have?
StakePoint held $9.95M in total value locked at the end of August 2026, up from $7.16M in July. This is current TVL held on-chain, not cumulative value processed since launch.
How many tokens have been locked on StakePoint?
600 unique locks across 386 supported tokens as of the end of August 2026, up from 512 locks and 286 tokens in July.
Does StakePoint support Token-2022?
Yes, with full support including transfer taxes, reflection mechanics and custom extensions. This covers tokens from every major Solana launchpad and is where platform support most commonly differs.
What happens to StakePoint's platform fees?
Fees fund SPT buybacks on the open market, liquidity provision for the SPT pool, LP farming rewards and Whale Club distributions. In August that totalled roughly $12,200 recycled back into the token and ecosystem, all verifiable on-chain.
What is Whale Club?
Whale Club is StakePoint's monthly rewards programme for holders of 1M or more SPT. Scores are based on holdings, platform usage, social promotion and swap activity, and rewards are funded from platform buybacks. Over $1,500 was distributed in its first month.
Is StakePoint venture funded?
No. StakePoint has taken no venture funding, run no paid advertising and paid no influencers. Growth has come from projects using the platform and sharing their public proof pages.
What is the difference between TVL and cumulative value processed?
Current TVL is what is held right now and moves with withdrawals and price. Cumulative value processed counts everything that has ever passed through a platform since launch, only increases, and counts the same tokens repeatedly if locked and released. The two are frequently confused when comparing platforms.
Where can I verify StakePoint's locks?
Every lock has a public page at stakepoint.app/locks viewable without connecting a wallet, with the on-chain account address linked to Solscan for independent verification.
